About Me

My name is Spencer Burton and I was born and raised in Waterloo, Ontario. I completed my honours degree in Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University before pursuing a Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa. Now, I am thrilled to be fulfilling my lifelong dream of being a teacher!

Teaching is a career that has always interested me. It is my belief that a good education is the most important thing that we can provide the younger generation. It is a very rewarding experience empowering children to grasp the foundational knowledge and skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. However, it takes a skilled and passionate individual to accomplish such a task.

An exceptional teacher understands that education is more than academic excellence and gaining knowledge through a standardized curriculum. In fact, a teacher can have a positive impact on the life of a child that can extend far beyond the classroom.

Join me on my journey of becoming a teacher, researching the current trends in education, and having some fun along the way!
